A common conversation that Adam Conrad (Intogreat’s Managing Director) has had with business owners in Australia is that their business and staffing operations encounter tough challenges. Finding good staff with the right capability continues to be a difficult task among businesses in Australia. According to business owners, it’s even more difficult to find good staff with the right capabilities at the right price. And once the management eventually finds and employs those new team members, businesses find it ever increasingly difficult to retain those valuable, highly capable staff.

LOCATION AND TOP OF THE LINE FACILITIES

Intogreat’s beautiful offices operate in the same building as some of the multinational BPO companies in the Philippines. Every staff member at Intogreat has their own desk, two monitors, ergonomic chair, headset, and videoconferencing capabilities with high-speed internet. IT and admin support is also provided by Intogreat 24/7/365 to ensure that communications between the onshore and the offshore teams is absolutely seamless. On top of the cost savings, onshore clients also don’t have to comply legal requirements as Intogreat handles and assumes legal responsibility of the employee(s). Intogreat recruits the offshore staff, employs them, and subcontracts them back through to the onshore business owners.

YEAR-ROUND COST SAVINGS

The cost savings are significant also with offshoring. Year-round operational cost savings start at about seventy percent (70%), and these can increase to as much as two hundred percent (200%) for professional roles such as IT developers and web development. 70% is the starting point, and all increases from there. But the pros and advantages of offshoring with Intogreat include more than just the cost savings and the lower offshore wages. Intogreat’s clients, upon onboarding, also don’t have to pay Superannuation Fees for their offshore employee(s). Offshoring to the Philippines also excludes payroll taxes from the operational costs, and the clients also do not have to pay for the offshore staff’s work cover. Things like a desk, a chair, a computer, car allowance, mobile phones, etc. – such operational necessities are provided by Intogreat at no additional fees. OFFSHORING TO THE PHILIPPINES: PRODUCTIVITY + KPI-DRIVEN

The team of offshoring and outsourcing experts at Intogreat work in partnership with onshore clients to ensure that the newly onboarded staff have SMART KPIs in place. But what are SMART KPIs? They’re Specific, Measurable, Accountable, Realistic, and Time-bound.


Intogreat works with clients to develop 30, 60, and 90-day KPIs , so that the newly hired staff members know what success looks like when they join Intogreat. All offshore team members who join Intogreat have a 90-day probationary period. Post-probationary period, Intogreat’s People Management and Foundations / Business Preparations teams then move the staff on to 6-monthly KPIs, and the offshore team leader(s) will then meet with the onshore team on a monthly basis to discuss the performance, the productivity, and any areas of concern with their offshore staff members. To build strong connections and fill in the gaps, the Intogreat team make sure to help and guide new clients the whole way through the offshoring process.

OFFSHORING TO THE PHILIPPINES: Capability of PH workforce

Staff in the Philippines work 9-hour days with one and a half hours of breaks – over the course of a week, the onshore business owners get an additional two and a half (2 ½) hours of productivity out of a Filipino staff member, compared to employing an Australian staff member. Another advantage of offshoring with Intogreat is that the staff work Australian hours – they start work here in the Philippines at 6:00AM and finish at 3:00PM, or 9:00AM till 6:00PM in Australia and 8:00AM till 5:00PM during the winter months. At Intogreat, the offshore staff also have less annual leaves and less sick leaves, and they get a combined total of 18 days of paid time-off.
